Description
An Ojo de Dios or God’s Eye is an Energetic object made by weaving a design of yarn on a wooden cross (basically). Originates in the Latin American (Peruvian-Mexican) tradition, often the father makes one when a child is born, he starts the center piece and add a color each year till the age of 5. That’s why most of the time multiple layers of colors are used.
On a Spiritual level it is used as a Ritual tool, the Ojos de Dios have the Power to see and help to understand things unknown to the physical eye. It is used as Protection for homes and during Ceremonies. It’s for many traditions a Magical object that connects with the Spirit World and the Ancestral Heritage.
In the Huichol tradition of Mexico it is called Tsikuri, that stands for “the Power to see and understand the unknown”…
