These Drum Hoops are made of multi-layered plied Birch Wood. Provided by Nature, shaped completely by hand in Love and Respect guided by the Ancestors and Spirits. All corners are rounded and the wood is sanded, oil finished with bio Almond oil (& Herbs) to make it more resistant to moisture and to reveal the Natural Beauty of the Wood structure. These Frames are round because for American Native People the Circle is Sacred and All happens within. My personal symbol is painted on the inside, circled with the 4 colors of the Sacred Medicine Wheel – the 4 Winds and the 4 colors of People.
