Traditions of the Huicholes workshop

The Huicholes are an Indigenous Tribe living in Mexico. Worldwide well-known for their gorgeous and unique yarn and beadwork. Like many Traditional People they Work with Plant Teachers and the Spirit of the (blue) Deer.

In our workshop we connect with their Teachings and we learn to make some typical Huichol Tools to use at home.

In the first part of our journey into this Tradition we learn about the Wixarika (Huichol) Tradition and we make a Prayer Arrow. This Tool can be used for connecting, cleansing, praying ….

In the second part of our workshop we dive deeper into the use of their Medicines and we create our personal Ojo de Dios (Gods Eye). This is another Energetic Tool often used for specific reasons and goals in the Huicholes Tradition, easy to use and make yourself.
