SUMMARY:Traditional North American SweatLodge - Inipi Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:The Lodge is a construction like a Turtle shell made of Willow branches. This is covered with 4 layers of blankets. In the Sacred Fire Pit\, Stones (Inyan Oyate – Stone People) are heated up untill red and then carried by the Firekeeper to the central Fire Pit in the Lodge. The improvised door is closed and in the darkness we can reconnect with our self\, Mother Earth\, Spirit Guides\, Ancestors\, the Elements\, the Medicine Wheel and so much more. With Prayers and Medicine Songs Water is poured on the Stones to heat up the Sweatlodge and humble ourselves. \nIn the North American Tradition this is a return to the womb of our Earth Mother. It’s an unique Ceremony to cleans on all levels your body and mind. With your sweat you can get rid of all unwanted weight you carry\, visible and unvisible… As Sacred Pipe Carrier it is my pleasure to share with you the Chanupa during the Sweatlodge Ceremony for extra connection. \nYou are Welcome to wrap up the Summer Holiday time with us in a beautiful environment. This Ceremony we are so lucky to have a Powerful cooperation with Nature’s Call\, Walk in Trust and Indian Time. The location is unique and there is a possibility of camping if you would like to. \nWe start the day with getting the Ceremonial Spot ready and lighting up the Fire around noon\, please be welcome @ 10h. After that there is an introduction and we materialise our Prayers-Intentions. The Lodge is entered covered\, so please bring a boxer shirt\, sarong\, big towel\, swimsuit … as respect for the participants\, grandfathers and tradition. We go in the Lodge for 4 rounds of +- 20 minutes. Sometimes the Firekeepers chooses to have a 5 round to connect with the Energy of the Ceremony. After the Sweatlodge we uncover the construction and have a meal in the tradition of Pot Luck\, every participants brings a little dish\, fruit\, bread\, drinks …. to share with the Circle. DESCRIPTION:Ancient cultures place great value on Traditional Medicine Songs. These Sacred Songs were preserved for generations\, often risking their own lives. This ensured their oral transmission generation after generation. Most of these Songs carry a unique Energy and Message that can also contribute to the development of a Higher Consciousness in this New Age.  \nWe have already had the honor of receiving several of these Traditional Songs. We share them as much as possible in our Drum Circles and other activities. It was emphasized to us that these Songs are traditionally transmitted orally; if a Song is in your Heart\, you can sing along. However\, as several participants noted\, it is not easy to learn all these Sacred Songs within the offered activities. For this reason\, we are once again organizing a two monthly circle to highlight these Traditional Medicine Songs. This evening will focus on Songs and Singing; for the use of Drums\, we would like to invite you to our Drum Circles. Each Singing Circle\, we will explore several Songs\, their meaning\, feeling\, and purpose. A whiteboard is provided so you can easily follow along and take notes if needed. Of course\, practice is an important part of the process; you’ll also experience the role of Lead Singer yourself and discover that singing these Sacred Medicine Songs is more than just making sounds; it’s pure Self-Healing\, freeing your throat chakra\, and so much more…

However\, as several participants noted\, it is not easy to learn all these Sacred Songs within the offered activities. For this reason\, we are once again organizing a two monthly circle to highlight these Traditional Medicine Songs. This evening will focus on Songs and Singing; for the use of Drums\, we would like to invite you to our Drum Circles. Gradually\, we too are learning that Balance and Harmony within ourselves and our environment are essential. Traditional therapies that approach humanity as part of a whole are gaining importance. We realize that we are not simply a body\, but a Holistic\, complex being connected to the Greater Whole.  \nDuring this weekend\, we will explore the Medicine Wheel and all the clear insights it can offer on our own Path. For participants who regularly work with others\, there are tools that can be immediately used in their own practice to offer insights and solutions. Recognizing the manifestation of Energies and their effect on body and mind is an important step toward offering explanations and solutions for underlying problems. We will explore how to recognize concrete processes in Life and respond to them using the traditional of the ancient Medicine Wheel. Each Direction has its own Medicine: Plant\, Mineral\, and Totem Animal. The goal is to grow into a traditional Intuitive Therapist with a Holistic Vision\, rather than a healer with preconceived intellectual explanations.  \nBeginning at 10:00 am\, ending at 5:00 pm. SUMMARY:Workshop "Create your personal Rattle"
DESCRIPTION:The Rattle is like a Drum an Instrument to make a monotone noise that can help you to open other Dimensions of Consciousness. \nIn many ancient Cultures it’s a Tool that has a Ceremonial and Ritual use\, it’s smaler than a Drum so it can easily fit into a Mesa or mobile Altar. \nIt can help to lower the brain waves to get into an eased up meditative state of mind\, the Alpha level where you can make contact with the (nature) Spirit and open up the Gate to your subconsciousness. \nWe create our Tool in two half days so during the night the hide of your Rattle can dry out slowly to finish it the next day. \nAs a handle you’ll need something that feels good in your hand\, a guideline can be a stick of about 25cm long and 2cm thick > all dimensions are approximate.\nYou can remove the bark (if you wish) so that the wood can dry out. It would be nice to use a piece of wood that comes on your path during a walk in the forest\, but we have pieces available for you if needed. \nThanks already for your interest. DESCRIPTION:We are honored to have the possibility to offer you a workshop to create your own Drum. All over the globe we can find the use of different styles traditional Drums. It is said that this instrument represents the Heartbeat of Mother Earth and it can represent the first sound-rhythm we registrated\, the Heartbeat of our own Mother. In many traditions the Drum is used to travel between the stages of consciousness\, to contact Spirit Guides and Ancestors …. we have to give thanks to the old traditions that kept this instrument for us to use today. \nIn this workshop you will give “birth” to your own instrument. You’ll shape the frame\, the handle\, the drumstick and bring it all together at the second day as a new born entity\, a new tool to use. We work with natural ingredients and take time for an Energetic connection also.
