SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Traditional North American Sweatlodge - Inipi Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:The Lodge is a construction like a Turtle shell made of Willow branches. This is covered with 4 layers of blankets. In the Sacred Fire pit Stones (Inyan Oyate – Stone People) are heated up untill red and then carried by the Firekeeper to the central Fire pit in the Lodge. The improvised door is closed and in the darkness we can reconnect with our self\, Mother Earth\, Spirit Guides\, Ancestors\, the Elements\, the Medicine Wheel and so much more. With Prayers and Medicine Songs Water is poured on the Stones to heat up the Sweatlodge and humble ourselves. \nIn the North American Tradition this is a return to the womb of our Earth Mother. It’s an unique Ceremony to cleans on all levels your body and mind. With your sweat you can get rid of all unwanted weight you carry\, visible and unvisible… As Sacred Pipe Carrier it is my pleasure to share with you the Chanupa during the Sweatlodge Ceremony for extra connection. \nYou are Welcome to invite SummerTime with us in a beautiful environment. This Ceremony we are so lucky to have a Powerful cooperation with Nature’s Call\, Walk in Trust and Indian Time. The location is unique and there is a possibility of camping if you would like to. \nWe start the day with getting the Ceremonial Spot ready and lighting up the Fire around noon\, please be welcome @ 10h. After that there is an introduction and we materialise our Prayers-Intentions. The Lodge is entered covered\, so please bring a boxer shirt\, sarong\, big towel\, swimsuit … as respect for the participants\, grandfathers and tradition. We go in the Lodge for 4 rounds of +- 20 minutes. Sometimes the Firekeepers chooses to have a 5 round to connect with the Energy of the Ceremony. After the Sweatlodge we uncover the construction and have a meal in the tradition of Pot Luck\, every participants brings a little dish\, fruit\, bread\, drinks …. to share with the Circle. Ofcourse we don’t forget the Spirit Dish. Due to protocols woman in their moon can’t enter the Lodge\, please contact us for more info.
